About
Hello, and thank you for visiting. Here is a bit about me and the partners I work with at United Designers International.

Michael Lynn, owner of Eastern Ecosystems.
I've worked in ecological design for more than a decade, starting out with small scale homestead and farm designs to large scale landscape design, watershed management, and ecosystem restoration. Having had a career in public safety, I've seen first hand the devastating effects of cimatic disasters and I recognize that nature based solutions are the way forward.

By working with natural patterns and processes, we can design systems that provide for our needs while repairing the degraded ecosystems around us. This can be done while reducing inputs from off site, reducing costs, and increasing the carrying capicity of the land. That can be in terms of production for agroecology/farm systems, restoring natural ecosystems and enhancing the ecosystem services they provide, increasing biodiversity, carbon sequestration, hydrological cycle repair, of landscape, and utilizing green infrastructure to provide resilience at a lower cost.

Most of the projects I work on now involve partners from Unided Designers International. Having multiple perspectives from a variety of specilized backgrounds, gives the best outcome. I've included some information about our team below, as well as the website. I encourage you to check it out.
